IMPHAL, Jun 29 : The observation of Anti Malaria Month 2016 initiated today in a function held at the office chamber of the District Nodal Officer, National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme at the Old Medical Directorate complex. Chief Medical Officer, Imphal West, Dr H Kula who attended as the chief guest of the opening programme urged mass participation of the people in rooting out Malaria. He advised the people to maintain a clean environment and use chemical treated mosquito nets to avoid the spread of the disease.
