Addl Chief Secy, Commissioner, UNC leaders leave for Delhi

IMPHAL, Feb 2: With the stage all set for a tripartite meeting among the United Naga Council (UNC), the Government of Manipur and the Government of India, Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Dr Suresh Babu who would be leading the State Government’s delegation has categorically stated that they would explore all avenues to bring a temporary solution to the protracted economic blockade in view of the forthcoming State Assembly election.

Tripartite talk : GMPC pins hope on dialogue

No pol advts in print media on Feb 3, 4 : EC

NEW DELHI, Feb 2 : The Election Commission of India on Thursday directed that no political party, candidate, organisation or any person will publish any advertisement in print media on 3 and 4 February unless contents of the advertisement proposed to be published have been pre-certified by the political parties and candidates from the Media Certification and Monitoring Committee (MCMC).

Focus only on possible positive outcome : UCM
