Huge cache of explosives, ammunition recovered

IMPHAL: Moreh police on Friday recovered a huge cache of bombs and ammunition believed to have been concealed underground sometimes back. The bombs and ammunition were detected during earth digging work for construction of compound wall of Moreh college under Moreh police station at about 3pm. The recovered cache includes 18 mortar shells and around 600 live ammunition including 9mm and it was found neatly packed in polythene bags.
