THOUBAL, Aug 1: As a precaution to the recent outbreak of Japanese Enchephalitis in various parts of the State, B Coy of 54 Battalion, BSF deployed at Wangjing Tekcham Leikai, Thoubal, carried out fogging of the whole area of Wangjing Tekcham Leikai today.
A press release issued by the Coy Commander, B Coy 54 Bn BSF stated that the company also distributed drinking water, bleaching powder, phenyl and first aid medicines to the people of the locality. The programme was carried out under the guidance of the Commandant, 54 Bn BSF, Sh Suneel Kumar Singh and Coy Commander, Sh Nishwat, AC, it added.
