IMPHAL, Aug 28: Noney Battalion provided life-saving medical assistance to a scorpion bite victim. Leela Devi (50) w/o Upendro Saha, a resident of Noney Market was stung by a poisonous scorpion on her left forearm today. The victim was immediately rushed to Unit Hospital, Noney wherein the Medical officer administered hydro cortisone to her. The patient was kept under observation and later on discharged after stabilising of vital stats, a statement issued by the PIB Defence, Imphal said.
