Imphal, Jul 25 : Currently studying in Class VII at Pitambara English School, Mahananda Thokchom who clinched a gold medal at the 33rd Glenmark Sub-Junior & Junior National Aquatic Championship at Bangalore, said that he opted for swimming over archery when Mega Co Care asked him. After winning his first gold medal, Mahananda said that he will put in more efforts to be a International medallist.
