IMPHAL, Oct 10:Tamenglong and Longmai (Noney) Districts Citizens’ Welfare Forum has called off the blockade of NH 37 and other national projects, which was scheduled on October 11 , after a meeting was conducted with the MLA of 53 AC, Tamenglong Samuel Jendai today.
A press release issued the forum stated that Chief Minister through the local MLA and ex MLA of Tamei, Z Kikhonbou, assured the forum to take necessary steps regarding the smooth functioning of the Autonomous District Council, Tamenglong.
“A legitimate Government shall take over the ADC, Tamenglong as per assurance of MLA, Samuel Jendai”, it added.
