NIELIT celebrates 29th foundation day

IMPHAL, Oct 1: National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) celebrated its 29th foundation day and freshers’ meet at its campus located at Akampat today. Speaker of Manipur Legislative Assembly, Y Khemchand; Works, IPR, Industry and Power Minister Th Biswajit; State Informatics Officer, NIC, Kh Rajen and Executive Director, NIELIT, Imphal, Kohima and Agartala Th Prameshwor attended the function as chief guest, president and guests of honour.
On the occasion, prizes were distributed to meritorious students of the institute. Cultural programmes were also performed by the students.
