IMPHAL, May 18: MUSA, Majorkhul and FC Imphal, Kwakeithel cruised into the semi-finals of the ongoing 1st RKFD Sangai Trophy held under the auspices of All Manipur United Veteran Football Association.
In today’s first quarter final encounter, MUSA, Majorkhul romped to a 3-0 win over VSAI-A, Thangmeiband.
In the one-sided match dominated by MUSA, T Siehlam handed the lead to the Majorkhul veterans as he struck home the opener in the 13th minute.

IMPHAL, May 18:Imphal West District Level Subroto Mukherjee Cup Football Tournament-2017 for U-14 (boys) and U-17 (boys & girls) will be held from June 10 to 15 June at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex, Imphal. In a press release, District Youth Affairs & Sports Officer (IW), informed that the tournament will be organized by its office and further asked all the interested schools to collect the eligibility/entry forms from the office during office hour.

Right from the start, GDC were in control of the match. L Bikram handed the lead to GDC in the 34th minute.
L Sunder doubled the lead in the 38th minute while Peter sealed the team’s victory in the 48th minute.
Even as AMOFA show all eagerness to find the equalisers, their strikers failed to breach the strong defence line of GDC.
