IMPHAL, July 26: District Level Trainings of Grass Root Workers on “Disease Detection and Reporting of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (Bird Flu)” at nine different districts of Manipur was concluded at the District Head Quarter in Chandel, Manipur on the July 24, 2013, it said in a press release by the Director of Veterinary & Animal Husbandry Services.
The press release further said that the training programme was sponsored by Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) of the United Nations and Government of India, Ministry of Agriculture, Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying & Fisheries (DADF), Krishi Bhavan, New Delhi, while adding that the training programme was started from the July 17, 2013 at the Conference Hall, Manipur State Veterinary Council, Sanjenthong for Imphal East and Imphal West district and followed at different seven District Head Quarters of the state namely Thoubal, Bishnupur, Senapati, Ukhrul, Tamenglong, Churachandpur and concluded on the July 24, 2013 at Chandel, it said.
