IMPHAL, Oct 11: Manipur cadre IAS officer AN Jha would take over as the Secretary of the Department of Expenditure as soon as present Expenditure secretary Ashok Lavasana retires.
AN Jha has been already deputed as OSD to the Department of Expenditure in accordance to a decision adopted by the Cabinet Appointment Committee. AN Jha is an IAS cadre of 1982 batch. He held the post of Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change earlier.
