IMPHAL, Mar 25: Taking strong exception to the prolonged absence of a Director at RIMS which has been disrupting the institute’s normal functions every now and then, the International Peace and Social Advance-ment (IPSA) has flayed the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for its failure to appoint a Director.

“No place for democratic movement”

IMPHAL, Mar 3: Saying that democratic movement in the State seems to have got no place as many democratic protests including the historic 16 years long fast staged by Irom Sharmila went unheard, several frontal organisations including IPSA, Kanglamei, CLK, KIL and KSA asserted that there is no point in casting vote by electorates in elections if such protests were not paid heed in the democratic country.
