IMPHAL, April 26: The militant outfit United Revolutionary Front (URF) on Thursday said it is not right to mislead the people by presenting ambiguous statements by the state politicians while speaking at observations of historic events of Manipur.

In a release, URF information secretary AK Pibarel has warned the state politicians should not misguide the people.

The release said. ‘If the politicians want to talk in favour of India they should go to Delhi.’

It further said, there is no point in dragging in the issue of Indian integration at the commemoration of the Anglo-Manipur War of 1891. It also asserted that many patriots in Manipur are now waiting for the opportunity to fulfill their wishes and aspirations.
