Imphal, Sep 6 : On the auspicious occasion of Teacher’s day, the Leimakhong Division, organized a get-together, to felicitate the teachers of Red Shield Army Pre- Primary School, for dedicating their lives to the noble cause of education. The teachers at Red Shield Pre- Primary School are well educated in their respective fields and are putting efforts beyond their regular errands to channelize and cultivate good habits and good learning in the young budding future of India, to become responsible citizens who could par take with the mainland youth.
Red Shield Army Pre- Primary School, was established by Red Shield Division, to impart pre- primary education to the tiny tots of Leimakhong and villages around the military station. Maj. Gen. Binoy Poonnen, VSM, GOC Red Shield Division, has extended his compliments to all teachers on the occasion of Teacher’s Day.
He emphasized that teachers alongwith parents play a vital role in not only educating young minds but also cultivate good habits thereby, preparing them to meet the everyday challenges of life. He expressed his confidence that the teachers today will continue to brighten the pathway for children, for their better and prosperous tomorrow. He also furthered that ‘Red Shield Army Pre- Primary School’ would eventually rise up to be one of the best Pre- Primary schools in Manipur, by virtue of the selfless dedication put forth by the teachers.
