The maiden visit of Chief Minister N. Biren to Ukhrul on 11 April ’17 was an earmark of various developments for the people of Tangkhul community which we all expect the same package of developments to other poor tribal communities of Manipur and poor Meiteis who live under the pain of absolute poverty and economy constraints. Diego Villaveces stressed to believe that “kindness and humanity has to begin within ourselves”.
