KANGPOKPI, Jul 26: Remembering the brave soldiers of India who fought gallantly for the nation during the Kargil War, the district administration, Kangpokpi today observed the 18th Kargil Vijay Diwas at Kangpokpi DHQs.
More than 30 District Level Officers and other official staff of DC, Kangpokpi took part in the observance.
Hailing the bravery of Indian armed forces, DC, Kangpokpi, T Ranjit Singh, said that Kargil Vijay Diwas is observed to honour the Kargil war heroes. Many others DLOs also spoke on the occasion praising the bravery of the soldiers.
The DC, SP, Additional DC, Additional SP and other DLOs and official, staff of DC Kangpokpi remain silent for two minutes to respect and honour the bravery of the martyrs.
