IMPHAL, Aug 9: The office of Prison HIV Intervention was inaugurated at Manipur Central Jail, Sajiwa today under the aegis of Nirvana Foundation .
Project Director of Manipur AIDS Control Society, Arambam Valentina, Superintendent of Police (Prison) Manipur Central Jail, W Phanitphang and secretary of Nirvana Foundation, Sobhana Sorokhaibam were present as presidium members at the event which was attended by more than 210 people including MACS officials and staff, district AIDS officers, NEPSU, prison officials and staff, Nirvana Foundation staff and inmates of Manipur Central Jail.
