MNS: The Naga Students Union Chandel (NSUC) has informed Education that, e MOU between the Government of Manipur (GoM) and Ail Tribal Students Union Manipur(ATSUM) had been arrived in the Chief Ministers office on 31 March, 2006 under the term and condition that all the required teachers in the hill districts school be filled up on the basis of need and requirement . It is important to note here that the requirement of teachers in the six hill districts submitted by each ZEO’s reach a tune of 2152 for running the school. In this connection the Additional Director (H) had prepared and submitted Zonal wise particulars of teachers, number of students and number of additional teachers required is enclosed as annexure for your reference.
Verification process of these teachers engaged on contract basis for one full academic session w.e.f from January to December, 2012 have been completed by the Directorate of Education (S) and the same have been submitted to the higher authorities for taking up necessary action. Enclosed vide letter no. 3/1/2006 Ed/H/Pt. dated 15* December, 2011.
Numerous assurance from the Government of Manipur had had been made to our apex organization ATSUM for the extension of the aforesaid contract teachers on the basis of need and requirements. S. Sankhil, President, Gen. Secretary appealed to do the needful.
