IMPHAL, July 25: The 60 year old man who died after falling from Bir Tikendrajit Flyover yesterday morning at around 7 am has been indentified and handed over to the family members after a post mortem was conducted at RIMS hospital today.

The deceased has been identified as Sarangthem Iboton (60), son of (L) Choaba of Wangkhei Thambalkhong and presently staying at Khouyathong Polem Leikai.

IMPHAL, July 24: An unidentified man in an apparent act of suicide today fell after jumping from the lone flyover of the state, Bir Tikendrajit flyover around 7am today, dying at the spot. The dead body has been deposited at the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences Mortuary for identification.

According to locals and passerby, said the individual was seen walking up and down just a few moments before he fell down.
