Hand that rocks the cradle Saluting mothers the world over

Hand that rocks the cradle rules the world. A short sentence but which is pregnant with meaning. Obviously this is the ultimate tribute to all mothers over the world and no one can deny the profound impact that mothers have on the young children. Like in the years past, Manipur too witnessed Mother’s Day observation on May 8, the second Sunday of the month and it would be wrong to assume that the day is exclusively associated with Christianity. Cutting across religious divide, mankind should come together as one to observe the day.

Life is not business, it’s insurance

You never mind throwing yourself in the lowest level, thinking you will be at the highest tomorrow. Truth wasn’t just for me if you redefined the sentence, “Son! You are suffering now to enjoy tomorrow.”

Hospital with a difference

Forty-four km due south from Imphal and about three kilometres off National Highway 39 that leads to Myanmar at Kakching lies the Anandsingh Yoga and Nature Cure Research Hospital. Managed by the Kha Manipur Yoga and Nature Cure Association, the hospital in itself is a small 10-bed affair. But it is here that “miracles” are performed for those affected by paralysis,

It is a healthy sign of democracy to have discussion, debates, discourses; organize bandhs, rallies, hunger strikes; sending petitions, representations, memoranda; writing editorials, press-hand-outs, open letters etc., on crucial issues pertaining to our society, economy, politics, and culture and so on. Relation between human mothers and mother earth

Introduction: This is not a comprehensive comparative study between Human Mothers and Mother Earth. In view of the recent 2016’s drastic climatic change and natural phenomena, a wild thought pressed my mind to come up with this topic. Everything emanates from somewhere. The male and female gametes combine to bring forth new life in different forms.

As we live in a world in continuous flux – changes in every living being, in every system, in every society, in every culture, in every civilization, and in every sphere is inevitable. The day one stops changing, that’s the day one ends its journey. Moirang is not an exception, too.
