IMPHAL, December 24: The All Manipur Christian organization (AMCO) has appealed to all the people in the state not to resort any violence or commit any act that will hurt the feelings and sentiments of any section of the society.
According to a release of AMCO, “The All Manipur Christian organization (AMCO) fervently appeals to all our loving brothers and sisters of Manipur to kindly maintain calm and serenity in this trying time while we are all undergoing untold suffering. Let us all strive together to bring about normalcy and harmony in this turbulent State.”
“As we prepare our hearts for the birth of the Prince of peace – Jesus Christ, let us fill our land with love, goodwill, harmony and brotherhood. We earnestly request our fellow brethren not to resort any violence or commit any act that will hurt the feelings and sentiments of any section of our society. The AMCO wishes the people of Manipur a very joyous Christmas.”
