Representatives of the fifteen organisations today met Manipur chief minister O Ibobi Singh on the frequent seizure of drugs in Manipur in recent time.
The leaders of the civil bodies asked the chief minister as to why the Special Intelligence Unit (SIU) was abolished by the state government after the January 11 incident where the SIU had seized huge quantity of drugs from Imphal airport amounting to Rs 1 crore.
