IMPHAL, Dec 11 : The Residential Cricket Coaching Camp organised by Disabled Development Association of Manipur (DDAM) which began on November 26 at Sawombung will now resume from December 22 to January 5. The coaching camp was scheduled to culminate today but will continue as a preparation for the upcoming 11th National Para Cricket Championship to be held at Nagpur from January 12 to 14, said a press release issued by DDAM.
The association has also sought support from the authorities concerned and public as participation is still unclear due to their financial shortage.

Hills and mountains are important for all living being directly or indirectly as we get most of the resources from mountains and from nature. We depend on mountains for most essential resources like drinking water. Almost one billion people live in mountain areas, and over half the human population depends on mountains for water, food and clean energy. Mountains cover around 22 percent of the earth’s land surface and are home to 13 percent of the world’s population. It provide sustenance and well-being for 915 million people, but also indirectly benefit billions more living downstream.
