IMPHAL, Nov 15: The Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) Foundation Day cum Children`s Day of Oriental Academy, Chandel was organized at the campus of Oriental Academy, Chandel.
During the function district youth award for NYK Chandel 2010-11 was distributed to various recipients including A. Lalit Singh – Moreh Heinoumakhong, Parpa Parton Chothe – New Wangparal village, Chandel and Ziontlang Youth Club, Chandel.
The awards were distributed to the awardee by Col. Manish Sinha – Commandent 42nd Assam Rifles Chandel who attended as the chief guest.
The function was also attended by W. Ibohal Singh – Dist. Youth Co ordinator, NYK, Chandel as functional president while St. Ruth- president Anal Sinnu Ruwl, Shimreichon Langhu- Secretary Anal Sinnu Ruwl as Special invitees.
