The education minister Moirangthem Okendro said to bring a change in the education of Manipur, Manipur education service will be introduced from next year. For this all preparations of its rule and regulations have been completed.
The minister was speaking as chief guest at the 40th foundation day of Board of Secondary Education, Manipur at the auditorium of MFDC, Palace Gate today.
To become education dept. a good one, the govt. at its best level will try to select qualified students, teachers and officers. He urged school management development committee to relax the ban on the construction of SSA’s school building as he instructed the concerned to maintain quality.
Presiding over the function, the RDand PR minister Shri Francis Ngajokpa said, for personal gain, students should not be treated as means. They should be free from all atmosphere of barriers. He also appealed not to interfere in the works of education.
Gifts were distributed to those chairpersons and topper in HSLC exam from 1973 onwards.
