IMPHAL, November 14: Around 500 Ningol (women) from almost every community residing in the hill and valley areas of the State clad in their traditional attire participated in the grand feast of `Ningol Chak-Kouba` here at Kangla on November 13.

The 22nd Eikhoigi Iche-Ichalsingbu Ningshingba Numit `Ningol

Chak-Kouba was celebrated on November 13 at Kangla Fort, Imphal jointly organized by All Manipur Ethnical Socio-Cultural Organization (AMESCO), Naath Kanba Lup and Manipur State Shumang Leela Council and AMACSU.

The function was attended by deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam, AMESCO advisor Anek Vaiphei, MLA TN Haokip and MLA RK Anand as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.

Later gifts were presented to the Ningols as done according to tradition.
