Tarao Students’ Union

Chandel, Aug 7: Tarao Students’ Union has clarified that the statement of the union published on August 1 regarding the nomination of Chandel ADC nominee Members was not a unanimous thought. In a statement, Tarao Students’ Union president Katrimsha Moningyear stated that though the union strongly condemned the decision of the State Government over the appointment of ADC nominee Members of Chandel District, the union however has nothing against any individual or authority.
And the word “boycott” was not the unanimous voice of the union therefore it should be read as condemned, the statement further clarified.

Social service held

Tamenglong, Aug 7: Social service was conducted under a two-day retreat program, trip to Dzuko on August 4 and 5 by Longmai-3 Baptist Youth Fellowship (BYF) at Dzuko Valley. The social service was conducted as part of the sanitation campaign with an objective to not only visit the beautiful creation of God but also contribute in keeping the tourist site neat and clean. The team was lead by its president & secretary under the guidance of Hosia Riamei, assistant Pastor, Longmai-3 Baptist Church.
