IMPHAL, Aug 10: People who have Atrial Septal Defect (a hole in the septum between the heart’s two upper chambers) and those who require open heart surgery may lead a normal life if this defect is treated on time, said Sky Hospital Chairman and Chief Cardiologist Dr L Shyamkishore.
