IMPHAL, Jan 7 (DIPR) :Consequent upon the announcement of the State Legislative Assembly Election, 2017, by the Election Commission of India, the District Magistrate of Chandel has issued an order urging all the gun licence holders in the Chandel district to deposit their licenced arms at the nearest or concerned police stations or Army and Assam Rifles post on or before January 15, 2017, without fail.
