Bishnupur: A one day awareness cum mobilisation camp for formation of SHGs was held at Phouoibi Akongjamba the community hall, Keibul Sagram Thana Leikai, Thanga AC today.
Under the initiative of Ambedkar Hastasilkpa Vikas Yojana scheme and sponsorship of Development Commissioner Handicraft, Ministry of Textiles, the programme was organised by Bishnupur District Rural Social Welfare Society, Ithing Awang Leikai.
Moirang Khunou Gram Panchayat Pradhan l Gouramani Meitei, District Social Welfare, Bishnupur member N Binod, ICM faculty member Dr S Herojit Singh attended the event as dignitaries.
