THOUBAL, Jun 22: Strongly condemning the suspension of Gynaecologist Dr Subashchandra, who was serving at the district hospital, Thoubal, the JAC formed against the suspension staged a protest demonstration today. During the protest, a volunteer of the JAC stated that the doctor was suspended with no valid reason. He further stated that during his posting at the hospital, many pregnant women residing at Thoubal did not need to go to the city for check ups or for delivering babies. Various placards and slogans were raised by the protesters demanding a valid reason for the suspension and has threatened to launch stringent agitations if their demand is not heard.
