IMPHAL, Dec 3: Film maker and writer OC Meira was today conferred Mombi Award by Manipuri Theatre Centre Assam in recognition of his services for the people through his influential artistic works.
The award presentation ceremony held at Gandhi Bhawan, Silchar was attended by Ngangom Joykumar, vice-president of Assam Manipuri Sahitya Parishad as chief guest and Dr Maimom Shantikumar, vice-president of Manipuri Theatre Centre Assam as president.
The award was donated by Shomor Luwang.
