On the joyous occasion of the birth of Jesus Christ, All Manipur Students’ Union (AMSU) has extended its heartiest greetings to the people of Manipur.
May the celebration of Christmas usher in peace, love and harmony amongst all the communities in the state, said a release by AMSU.
Further, the students’ union appealed to all shopkeepers not to increase the price of daily essential items at the pretext of the festive occasion and also urged upon the owners of passenger service vehicles to refrain from increasing fare, said the release.
Meanwhile, a release by Kangleipak Students’ Association (KSA) also extended its sincere and heartfelt Christmas greetings to all the Christian brethren and sisters in Manipur. May the teachings of Jesus Christ which emphasis forgiveness and truth usher in a peaceful and united Manipur, said the release.
