12th April 2015: Manipur Students’ Association Delhi (MSAD) organised an interaction program with a team of Manipuri film personalities on 11th April, 2015 (Saturday) at Delhi University Park, Delhi (North). Film maker Romi Meitei, actor Kaiku, actress Dodona Potshangbam and cinematographer Radhamohon were part of the team.
The interaction programme was attended by a large number of students and individuals from Manipur in Delhi. The film team shared their experiences on working in the film industry to the students. They also replied to the various questions raised by the students.
MSAD urged the team to produce films based more on innovative ideas, films with social and historical importance rather than for commercial benefits only. MSAD also wishes them success in the future.
The interaction program ended with a one minute silence to condole the sudden demise of eminent lyricist and writer B. Jayentakumar Sharma.
