Imphal, Dec 16: The Group HQ Imphal NCC, Manipur organised a rally on road safety awareness today in which 499 of its cadets and staff participated.
NCC Group Imphal has been participating in various schemes for the benefit of the society, including those on road safety, cleanliness campaign, drugs and AIDS, anti-malaria drives, women empowerment, adult literacy, blood donation camps and others.
Continuing its contribution towards social causes in the State, the cadets and staff carried out the rally on road safety awareness on the occasion of Victory Day. After the rally, the cadets were also given a lecture on various road safety rules and regulations.

NCC cadets observe

IMPHAL, Jun 22: In line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision to instill the habit of fitness and health in every individual, NCC Group HQ, Imphal and its affiliated units organized International Yoga day on June 21. More than 3,500 NCC cadets from 101 schools/colleges did yoga in 19 venues spread all over Manipur State between 7 am and 7.35 am, informed a release issued by the PIB, Defence, Imphal.
Meanwhile, over 700 people mainly students and villagers joined the 26 AR personnel stationed at Singngat sub-divisional headquarters in celebrating the 3rd International Yoga Day at the Battalion’s hqtrs. The event was organised by 26 AR under the aegis of HQ 27 Sector AR.
