IMPHAL, June 10: Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), Thoubal district had today initiated its two day Life Skill Awareness cum Workshop Camp at the aided Irengbal High School, Irengbal.
SSA Programme Manager of Thoubal district, P Sukumar Singh, S Biswanath, DI ZEO Kakching and T Birendra Singh, AI ZEO Kakching attended the function as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
In the life skill awareness cum workshop camp, L Subol Singh, District Coordinating Officer of girl education, SSA Thoubal said that besides going to school, one, specially the girl students should undergo vocational training which could make them capable for income generation.
It is notable to mention here that all the participants of one hundred girl students were given health checkup during workshop.
