IMPHAL, February 19: In a press release, the Joint Administrative Council (JAC) of All Manipur Trade Unions Council (AMTUC) and All Manipur Govt. Employees Organization (AMGEO) urged the state government to fulfill all demands which the Government assured fulfillment of demands along with a MoU. The order issued in violation of the norms of 6th pay will infuriate employees and pensioners, it said.
Chingtham Chandramani , Secretary general of JAC has submitted a representation to the Chief Minister of Manipur and the authority concerned to issue an order which can come into effect by reviewing 7% DA/DR order issued by Principal secretary, Finance of Government of Manipur on 16 February. The release also urged the government to pay off 7% DA/DR arrears with effect from 1-2-2012
