Environment Green Sunday observed

IMPHAL, Jun 4 : As part of the World Environment Day observance, Manipur Baptist Convention (MBC) Centre Church, Chingmeirong has observed Environment Green Sunday alongside its Sunday prayer service today.
Speaking at the observance, Dr Lokho Puni said, “We all are aware of the climate change. Let us stop cutting down trees and refrain from exploiting the environment. There is an urgent need to conserve the ecological balance which include conserving the wildlife, trees, forest and other components of forest ecosystem. Let us stop killing wildlife. Mankind cannot survive without the nature’s gift. It is the responsibility of human beings to nurture this gift and bask in its glory.”
