MNS: The Students of Manipur University interacted with Maj Gen U K Gurung, YSM,IGAR(S) on 19 Mar 12 and invited him to be the chief guest during the opening ceremony of the MANFETE-12. 28 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector under HQ IGAR(S) is providing assistance in their forthcoming Management festival MANFETE -12 with effect from 26 – 28 March 2012.
This interaction between the students body and the IGAR(S) marks an Era of bonding between youth of Manipur and the uniformed forces. The IGAR(S) has promised all assistance to the students.
Assam Rifles will be the main sponsor for the event and has provided a handsome amount for the festival.
During the festival Assam Rifles will also establish a Assam Rifles pavilion to encourage interaction with students and increase awareness about the organisation.
