Imphal, Mar 29: Some unknown persons gifted a Chinese hand grenade threatening to stop the construction works of an office building in psychiatric ward of RIMS this afternoon around 1.30 p.m.
The hand grenade was pushed inside an emply ORS-L bottle. One water bottle and a written statement were also found in a bag. PREPAK Pro Yaiphaba was also written on the ORS-L bottle.
A worker of the construction works said, two unknown persons who came yesterday shouted to stop works. The written statement said, we said to stop works since yesterday and will teach a lesson to deptt’s contractors. Workers should leave the area from today.
The concerned should not agitate for this. The wrong deeds of the deptt. should be clarified to the public failing which they should be produced before the media.
