Five more parties including TMC, BJP, MSCP, NPP and NPF joined People’s Democratic Front which was formed ahead of 10th state assembly election.
With a strategy to form the govt. excluding Congress(I), leaders of the non-congress parties held a meeting at the quarter of N. Hangkhalian, MLA at Lamphel this morning around 10 a.m. and the meeting continued till afternoon.
The party leaders including Dr. Nimaichand Luwang, MLA, O. Joy, RB Koijam, state president, NCP, Sh. Shantikumar, president, BJP, and leaders of NPF and discussed to form a non-congress govt. A representation will also be submitted to ECI and governor to recognize the PDF.
